W: Rebels nearly pull off impossuble comback

The
Rebels gave up seven weight classes to Seymour last night, spotting
them 42 points on forfeits. It is hard to recover from such a deficit,
but our guys went out and wrestled to win. As a team I felt like we
controlled the tempo and didn’t give Seymour any opportunity to
recover. We still made some early season mistakes but they are all
very correctable. Out of our seven grapplers we had 6 pick up wins.
Michael Brawner, RJ Rowlett won by pins. Michael Humphrey and Elijah
Lauderbaugh won by major decision. Cory O’Neal won by decision. The Kid
that stood out tonight was Michael Humphrey. Everything his opponent
threw at him he had an answer, it’s nice when someone pays attention
and uses things he is taught.
